Singapore, 1 September 2023 – Flexxon’s Co-Founder and CEO Camellia Chan was announced as one of the Singapore Computer Society and Singapore Infocomm Media Development Authority’s (IMDA) SG 100 Women in Tech (SG100WIT) 2023.
The third edition of SG100WIT was unveiled at a closed-door forum by Minister Josephine Teo, Minister of Communications & Information, and Patron of the SGWIT movement.
With over 850 applications received, the selection process was highly competitive. Nominees needed “to demonstrate tech expertise, leadership and vision, and community advocacy”. Requirements stated that the nominees’ achievements and contributions to the tech industry had to be impactful, influential and, above all, inspiring.
With this impactful accolade, Flexxon’s management team is committed to the objectives of the SG100WIT List. These include the dedication to:
- Sustain momentum and build up Singapore Women in Tech as an industry-wide movement
- Promote greater gender diversity in the tech sector so that women can pursue their careers in IT
- Nurture a more active community among female tech leaders, practitioners and students studying STEM
- Provide thought leadership and nurture younger talents
