The White House is organizing an in-person meeting today in Washington; comprising an amalgamation of 37 Countries and 13 Global Companies. The agenda of the meeting is to tackle the progressing threat of Ransomware and other cybercrime, encompassing the illegitimate use of cryptocurrencies as quoted by a senior US official.

This year’s in-house meeting is a sequel to last year’s virtual inaugural meeting of “the informal Counter-Ransomware Initiative”, offering an exceedingly diversified experience by incorporating seven more countries and integrating the private sector players for the first time.
