To install the X-PHY® SSD on your laptop, install it like you would install any other M.2 SSD Drive.
Follow these steps:
- Power off your laptop and remove the battery (if applicable).
- Locate the M.2 slot on your laptop.
- Unscrew and remove the panel covering the M.2 slot.
- Insert the X-PHY® SSD into the slot at a 30-45 degree angle.
- Secure the X-PHY® SSD in place with the retaining screw.
- Replace the panel covering the M.2 slot and tighten the retaining screw.
- Reassemble your laptop and follow the setup instructions provided by the X-PHY PC application.
